A long-time tradition that shepherds in the spring season, Greenfield Hill Congregational Church’s 79th Annual Dogwood Festival will once again take place on the church’s beautiful grounds and town square on May 2nd through May 4th surrounded by the historical Greenfield Hill neighborhood. This year’s festival will take place a week prior to Mother’s Day just as it did last year.
The Dogwood Festival is the harbinger of spring and the whole town of Fairfield has come to own the symbol of the Dogwood. The feeling of driving up Bronson Road to see the beauty of the pink, white, and purple blooms against the stark contrast of an early spring sky is extraordinary.
