Silvermine Arts

Art lovers from throughout Fairfield and Westchester Counties enjoyed great company and a great collection of original works at the Signed, Sealed & Delivered fundraiser for the Silvermine Arts Center in New Canaan. Thanks to the support of about 120 guests, more than $11,000 was raised to benefit the many programs and exhibits at the nonprofit center. This collector’s party featured works by Silvermine Guide artists, School of Art faculty and others, and all works sold for just $50. Guests also had the opportunity to bid on works contributed by friends of Silvermine during a silent auction. Those friends include Roz Chast, Charles Hinman, Gary Lichtenstein and Peter Rubino. CoCo-chairs for this year’s event included Silvermine Guild members, and participating artists, Nash Hyon from Wilton, Roger Mudre from Weston,  and DeAnn Prosia from Newtown.
