The Tiny Miracles Foundation (TTMF) raised more than $200,000 during its eighth annual spring gala at the Wee Burn Country Club. The donations will be used to support programs for the parents of preemies in the local community. Because the gala was themed A Star is Born, there was plenty of red carpet glamour on this evening. The 230 guests enjoyed specialty drinks at cocktail hour while bidding on silent auction items. A seated dinner followed, during which TTMF President Leelee Klein of Darien and Executive Director Gwen Noto presented a video detailing the journeys of local preemie parents and the support that this nonprofit gave to them. Later, three young adults who were born prematurely told their own birth stories. A spirited live auction followed, along with dancing to the sounds of Groove Events. Many local sponsors supported the event, including Stamford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital Foundation, Callari Auto Group and Kelly Real Estate Associates. TTMF reaches over 1,200 families in Fairfield County. Its services and programs are provided in the neonatal units of Stamford, Norwalk, Bridgeport and Danbury hospitals.
