White-Hot Success
The Tiny Miracles Foundation
Gala committee members Terrie Dusch, PJ Marcella, Leigh D’Andrea and Linda Queenan
The Tiny Miracles Foundation’s seventh annual spring gala raised more than $200,000. Held at the Wee Burn Beach Club, the gala’s theme, A Night of Sparkling Miracles, was played out in the dramatic décor: white, punctuated with fuchsia and purple. The 270 guests donned white attire and enjoyed a gorgeous view of the Long Island Sound. In addition to a silent auction, there was an exciting live auction during which guests bid on an all-inclusive African safari, a first-class trip to Martha’s Vineyard, tickets to a Red Sox/Yankees game and more.
The highlight of the evening was a tender presentation by young guests who are themselves tiny miracles, each having been born premature. They shared their incredible birth stories. After the auction, guests danced to the music of Groove Events. Proceeds from the gala will support the programs of this nonprofit organization that is dedicated to helping families with premature babies in Fairfield County
