Novel Night
Rowayton Library
Photographs by Andrea Letters
Literature lovers showed their support for the Rowayton Library during Dinner with the Characters. For this benefit, guests in costume were entertained in eight homes, where hosts dreamed up a setting and a feast to capture the spirit of a specific novel.
The host home for The Ice Storm (by Rick Moody of New Canaan) drew the largest crowd, but there was plenty of word play at other residences, where classic and contemporary stories such as Don’t Stop the Carnival and Steve Jobs were themes.
