YWCA Darien/Norwalk

Local fashionistas glammed it up on the red carpet at the Country Club of Darien for the YWCA’s annual spring benefit, which has been a town tradition for more than twenty-five years. Some two hundred guests from Darien and Rowayton rocked party attire for dinner and dancing at the Masquerade Ball. The guests also bid on more than $50,000 worth of auction items, among which was a long and luxurious weekend getaway at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. Proceeds from the gala will benefit the YWCA and its programs for women and children in lower Fairfield County. These programs include Job Search Support, which provides women with the skills and tools required to obtain employment and support their families.
