When the red carpet was rolled out at the Rowayton Library, the paparazzi were proud moms. The stars they stalked with digital cameras and smartphones were their daughters, many of whom were escorted to this very special dance on the arms of dear old dad. This year’s fourth annual Father Daughter Ball was organized around a Hollywood theme, and the young ingénues dressed the part, donning runway-ready looks, with boas, sunglasses and megawatt smiles. Following their walk up the red carpet, the girls enjoyed limo rides before going into the library for dinner and dancing. The ball committee included Ellen Arsenault, Kristin Campbell, Tammy Harris, Yvonne McKerrow and Christine Smith. Their efforts helped to raise money for the library, which offers many special programs for the community, including home delivery of books to the sick and to shut-ins.
