Keith Richards and Patti Hansen were the honorary cochairs of the Paint It Black gala, a sold-out fundraiser benefitting the Silvermine Arts Center, which turns ninety this year. Hansen and Richards, who are strong supporters of Silvermine’s outreach and scholarship programs, mingled with guests, some of whom arrived in creative black tie. Cocktails were served in the sculpture gardens, followed by hors d’oeuvres in the center’s lovely galleries. A Caribbean dinner was set out under a white tent, where a reggae band played. Items sold at live auction included the original drawing for the program cover by Keith Richards, which went for $23,000. The benefit netted more than $200,000.
